Most of us are all too familiar with the “pink message” phone message sheet. It was, and probably still is, the simplest way to relay a phone message. However, consumer bankruptcy attorneys generally don’t get just a couple of pink messages a day; they get dozens – along with lengthy voice messages and emails that must be addressed asap. The same issues apply to email, and how to manage the high volume of incoming email to make sure each one gets addressed.
While some of these phone messages and emails may require action on your part, it is likely that many will be delegated to other staff members. Passing around the pink “While You Were Out” phone message notes and forwarding lengthy voice mails and emails from one person to the next simply doesn’t work, and you run the risk of letting things slip through the cracks.
